Tuerkenschanzpark

Today was Labor Day in Austria so we thought it would be best if we visited a park instead of going downtown where it was probably very crowded. We went to Tuerkenschanzpark which is situated in the 18th district of Vienna and it is the city’s largest park with ~150.000 square metres. Compared to Bucharest’s Parcul Herastrau it is quite small but nevertheless lovely. There is also a nice terrace near a small lake where you can have a drink or eat some ice cream. :) IMG_0682e IMG_0685e IMG_0688e IMG_0691

This was one of the many beautiful houses in the residential area close to the park. IMG_0703

Tudor was carefully reading the instructions. :) .. or rather mocking them.

These guys had a pet mink I believe, though I am really not sure what it is; maybe a marten or a polecat? It was really cute and wanted to play with the dog.
