I did my Bachelor in Communication Studies and always missed having more classes in Marketing during my studies. As such, after browsing Online I decided to enroll for ”Introduction to Marketing” from Wharton – University of Pennsylvania via coursera.org. There you usually can take a class free or go for a signature track (ca. 50$) which simply links your work to your identity. However, both ways are alright – you just have to decide what’s best for you.
Introduction to Marketing is taught by some amazing Professors from the University of Pennsylvania and I really appreciated the opportunity to be able to hear their classes from my own living room in Vienna. They even organize Google Hangouts from time to time which is really fun and interesting.
You will learn fundamentals of marketing and other topics are branding strategies, customer-centric marketing strategy and new marketing entry. There were some tests after each big chapter and a final exam at the end of the class. Here is where you can read more about it: https://www.coursera.org/course/whartonmarketing
