In a faerie realm…

Last weekend I was in my hometown for a few days and tried out new places in Bucharest. The city is getting better and better and I notice it with every visit I make. There are so many new and creative restaurants&pubs and it all looks so alive. Tourists, a site not so often seen in Bucharest, are now walking around everyday getting to know the chaotic city.

I wanted to experience a new place so I chose Salon Golescu which is in the city center. The decor is wonderful and made with such care to detail that it really gives it a special atmosphere. Music and food are great which makes it a perfect choice.

The stag’s enormous head turned slightly—toward the wagon, toward the small window.
The Lord of the North.
So the people of Terrasen will always know how to find their way home, she’d once told Ansel as they lay under a blanket of stars and traced the constellation of the stag.
So they can look up at the sky, no matter where they are, and know Terrasen is forever with them.

The pub is close to the Romanian Athenaeum so my friend Ruxi and I stopped to walk around and take some pictures.

The new favorites in town are the eclaires at French Revolution. I have to admit they are really unique and if you did not find eclaires so special before, you will now.

I also experiences my first Escape Room game which was Harry Potter themed. Need I say more?  If you are ever in Bucharest and enjoy escape rooms, go visit this one.12045544_888517107900659_1461062742568594306_o
