Prague is downright amazing and a great choice for a city break or even longer since there are so many things to do there. If you live in Vienna, Prague is just a 4h train ride away! With its cobbled streets, beautiful bridges, red-roofed buildings and gothic architecture, Prague is simply charming. There are countless things to do in Prague and it is difficult to visit everything in just a few days. I was there for 4 days and tried to explore as much as possible, while also getting a feel for the city and the people there.
Here are some of the pictures I took during my stay:
Marionettes and puppets are everywhere in Prague. You will find tons of shops like this and you can also choose to enjoy a puppet show in several theatres.
The Old Town Square is gorgeous at any time of the day! The architecture is beautiful and the places are so well-preserved. Make sure you also catch a glimpse of the medieval astronomical clock.
You will surely pass the Charles Bridge which is usually filled with people, art and music. Make sure you catch the sunset and if you prefer a more quiet time, go there early in the morning.
Don’t leave Prague without visiting the Green Fairy. You won’t regret it! Make sure you find a genuine Absintherie <3 The smell alone will make you swoon.
Prague isn’t just a city, but an entity of some kind. -Sezin Koehler
